Gordon C. Fischer, PhD

Chairman

Dr. Fischer has over 10 years of executive experience managing business units for a $20B multinational corporation. During his tenure as VP of electronics, Dr. Fischer mandated his business unit focus on maximizing shareholder value, which led to 15% year-over-year sales growth and 88% profit growth. Dr. Fischer also served as Director of Electronics and R&D. Through these experiences, Dr. Fischer has acquired an applied expertise rarely found in the investment industry. He graduated with a BS in Chemistry from St. John Fisher College, Rochester, NY, and received MS and PhD degrees in Organic Chemistry from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Fischer has authored technical papers on topics ranging from coatings technology to experimental design, and holds eight US patents.

Nicholas A. Fischer

President & Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Fischer founded Fischer Capital Partners in 2006 with one idea: the key to investment success is a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental drivers of asset value. Today, after more than three years of outstanding performance, he and his management team continue to develop innovative research and analysis techniques that focus on discovering intrinsic asset value. As head of investments, Mr. Fischer is responsible for developing sound investment strategies and overseeing all investment portfolios. Mr. Fischer has both a BA and MA in Economics from the University at Buffalo, NY, in addition to an MBA concentrating in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

Michael E. Buza

Managing Director

Mr. Buza is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Fischer Capital. He is responsible for the development and management of various portfolios, and oversees asset allocation, research, and risk management. Prior to joining Fischer Capital, Mr. Buza served as an analyst for Columbia Partners Fund of Funds division, where his primary responsibility was strategic research and analysis of prospective hedge funds that were to be added to the Fund of Funds. Mr. Buza earned a BA in Economics and an MA in Applied Economics from the University at Buffalo, NY.

Colman M. Wolfson

Marketing Director

Mr. Wolfson is responsible for business strategy, client development and client relations at Fischer Capital. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wolfson worked for over four years at a Washington, DC-based international development organization, where he managed over $25M worth of overseas development programs. He also served as the coordinator for new program growth, bringing in over $60M in cash and in-kind contributions to the organization. In his spare time, Mr. Wolfson consults with small Pittsburgh firms that need assistance in funding development. Mr. Wolfson has a BA in Anthropology from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
